Calmer Sea is specifically created to help with depression, general anxiety disorder, social anxiety, phobias, PTSD, OCD and general stress.

There’s nothing like it because it’s a combination of some of the most dynamic and powerful therapies from around the world, clinically proven to help overcome some specific problems and issues that we all face from time to time.

Facing things alone can be tough, so at the heart of Calmer Sea is a support network of like-minded people, people who have experienced the same issues that you might be facing, they’re there to help you to keep on track and help you overcome your problems.

Calmer Sea is unique because the service combines many proven therapies, such as: CBT, Mindfulness, hypnotherapy, breathing techniques, relaxation exercises, EFT, Havening, NLP, self-compassion, binaural sounds, meditation, EMDR, visioning exercises, personal positive affirmations, exercise and yoga, environmental stimulus and problem solving techniques. Blending these therapies together specifically to treat an individual issue.

All of the above techniques and coping strategies support a 30-step programme that includes a graded exposure process, thought and emotion tracking and progress charts.

Because we understand that depression, anxiety and stress can manifest themselves in social withdrawal, at the heart of the service are the Calmer Buddy and Calmer Community sections, where like-minded people can discuss common issues and support each other in their recovery.

Calmer Sea is a constant companion throughout the recovery process and for when times become more stressful; the home screen contains permanent quick access buttons that deliver breathing and relaxation exercises immediately, helping the user to take control of a situation at the onset of the anxiety.

Calmer Sea is very effective when used purely on its own as a self-help programme, however, the app also enables the user to discuss their progress with their GP or therapist so that together they are able to identify triggers, spikes or trends to emotions and behaviours, helping them to decide what works best for that individual.
